I am looking at ways to make my AR9, not so much gentle, but less jumpy and able to stay on target (more for fun than anything else). Some guy (his Blog at blowback9.wordpress.com) came up with this recipe for an AR9 that is supposed to stay on target better (so he claims) than a common AR9 configuration. Below is a third party review on You Tube.
Summary: The configuration is a Kynshot hydraulic buffer (either standard or heavy damped model), two Kynshot weights, a standard M4 carbine spring, and a Just Right Carbine extra-long buffer tube to accommodate the two weights.
I have a Just Right buffer tube sitting around that I was going to use to meet Maryland 29" OAL for an SBR build, but I did a pin and weld instead. So I might try this just for fun.
Curious what you guys think.
