I suspect its just a logistics issue. One version that meets all the gun control requirements more stringent than what the standard configuration meets.
It is be more cost effective to only supply and manage two configurations than six (one for each state and then one for the free world)...
Yes. The G17L is the same as a G34 except for the barrel / slide length, i.e., 6.02". The G24 is the same as a G35 but with the 6.02 barrel / slide.
I have a G35 and G24, both are excellent guns and it would be hard for me to pick one over the other. I got them both as game guns (IDPA and...
My camera is an older version of this: http://contour.com/camera/contour_hd
It has 720P HD resolution, the current models are 1080P. I zip tied a mount to the top of my ear muffs. I've seen a couple different brands / designs used but this one is petty simple - no cords or separate...
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
There were two of use in the squad with hat-cam's. Would have been three but one guy left his at home.
The video is useful as I often see where I could have done something differnt and saved some time.
It was a great match. The stages were straightforward but challenging, all the staff / RO/SO's did a great job, and everything was smooth.
It was a real pleasure to shoot. Thanks for all the hard work and long hours, it paid off.
45 ACP at a "low" Minor PF (~125-130) is a complex issue. I can be done but it is not simple because you are running components out of their normal parameters:
1. Gun: spring rates need to be adjusted or the gun operates slow and may not be reliable. If not adjustable then you may get to...
Both my Glocks and my M&P Pro do this ~99% of the time. My stainless steel 1911 does it frequently as well.
Unless the slide is not picking up the round, don't worry.
I've not been there as I live in Calvert County so I did not vote, but I've talked to them a few times at gun shows and via phone about ordering in a gun. Generally good service and given the option of ordering from them or buying on the interwebthing plus shipping, transfer fees, and getting a...
Stainless is corrosion resistant and the metal is the finish so if you get a scratch it can be polished ore buffed out without having to refinish the whole gun. However, stainless can gall easier and is a bit more brittle that in the long run may be less resistant to repeated shots . Regular...
Both should be more then accurate enough even at 35-40 yrds for USPSA or IDPA needs. Buy your gun may have a preference.
If you are shooting USPSA 9mm at minor PF either should be fine, use whichever you find cheapest or easiest to use. However, if you are reloading some powders burn hotter...
