GSG 522 copy issues and FSA 2013

I purchased a GSG-522 for my son in November of 2013 in The Peoples Democratic Republic of Maryland, no issues. It has been a fun gun with over 500 rounds through it without any problems. Why is yours a POS?

Deb Rey for Delegate -- District 29B Southern St. Mary's

Saw Deb and her supporters at the corner of 5 and 246 this morning. One of the girls holding a sign was wearing a pink "guns save lives" shirt. Gave them a  She has my vote!

Kolbe v O'Malley Motion For Summary Judgement Filed 17 March 2014

Nice little "jab" by the CEO of Aries Armor. The shop in California that got raided for selling polymer lowers. Not sure if he's helping or hurting the cause, but IMHO he makes a few good points. At least he is someone who is speaking out...

      Just Got It NOW!

Thanks! Doesn't look like they have much right now but nice to keep an eye on. Docster, I promise not to bid on any 1951's they list ;)

      Looking for a vise

I have had no issues with my Harbor Frieght vise. Built 2 AR's (upper and lower), beat the anvil area with a hammer, bent metal. Still works like brand new. My only advice is to clean and lube it after you take it out of the box. They come with a film on them that make it hard to operate at...

      Building handguns at home... AR's & AK's

I hear you loud and clear. The 716 rifle can be had with a 16" barrel, IMHO the rifle would be easier for my wife to handle based on the difference between shouldering, and holding with outstreched arms or hip firing a 7.62x51/308. I can see the appeal of the P716 if you want to SBR it later...

      Building handguns at home... AR's & AK's

Simple answer is no. Maybe someone else can prove me wrong but I did not see the SIG P716 on the handgun roster. Feel free to check. https://www.mdsp.org/Organization/SupportServicesBureau/LicensingDivision/MainLicensingPage/HandgunRoster/HandgunModels.aspx?manu=18128 Other than it not...

      Help! RE: 7.62x25 reloading

Thats damn good for an old MILSURP pistol. I have good eyes and I would even struggle at 100 with open sights. Good luck!

Anyone shoot at Myrtle Grove lately?

The price is right. It's a public range so don't expect much. Get there early and hope none of the asshats show up. My son and I go there at least once a month and haven't had an issue yet over about a dozen trips. Well worth $20.

      Help! RE: 7.62x25 reloading

I guess it's either a heavy powder or not that efficient. It's WC820 powder, and 10gr is a recommended starting load for 110gr bullets. I have found load data that says you can go all the way up past 14gr with that powder in 7.62x25 tokarev. Seems like that might be a little much for my 60+ year...

      Help! RE: 7.62x25 reloading

I loaded a few of the ones you sent :) I was hesitant to step up to the next size bit myself but I took a "scrap" case (cut too short) sized and drilled out with a 5/16 bit (.312) after drilling the case neck thickness is the same as my once fired factory brass (.011) after that test case I...
