Check your products once you get them. I believe they are on Christmas vacation right now and won't be able to do returns. Couple of folks over at HKPRO have received wrong items (wrong color, wrong size, wrong pistol mag, etc). Mine were all good though.
Overall the mini slug shells that I bought are pretty good, with the exception that they are really dirty. At 7/8 the collateral damage is minimum and low recoil. When I bought them last year they were around 12-13 bucks per 20. Checked few online stores and they are all out of stock.
Here's...
I have one that I bought from Engage awhile ago. They are a blast! Get some mini shells and you can get 11 shells in each tube with 1 in the chamber. 23 mini shell slugs is pretty good fun imho.
Also you'll need to get BUIS or optics for the KSG.
I have both the HK45 CT and the FN FNX 45. I fire more accurately with the HK than I do with the FN. The sights on the FN are taller, so I have to adjust the height difference whenever I switch between the two. I really like both. My only complain with the FN is that for some strange reason the...
Oh the irony... the guy that's in the center of the investigation is (was, according to him) one of the Chinese Triads from back in the 70s/80s in San Fran.
I got mine. I did it through Dukesdefense's multi-state course and received HQL plus the non-resident for FL, UT, and VA. I received everything (sent separately by each state) in about 60 days.
Awesome! I sorta did the same thing. My thought was, with a belt fed, the only limit is the barrel and money. I tried to purchase a FA bolt from Ares but the rep on the phone told me they don't/won't sell any rifle parts to MD residents. I ended up getting my magazine adapter for the saw...
Thanks for the write up. I did the purchase backwards, bought the Ares MCR035 upper (few months ago), then the trigger (yesterday). How long did it take for your 3MR to ship?
I have about 1200 rounds linked...can't wait till range day. Hope rounds don't get caught like last time at every 6th...
Once you cleared TSA at your departure location, then you are good. Your luggage is checked to your final destination. Now if you decide to retrieve your checked luggage and hangout in nyc during the layover, then you are screwed...don't fly (check in with TSA again).
The rifle you purchased is the mag fed only version of the MCR rifle (see Ares Defense models list below). The MCR is not the Shrike. Shrike comes with heat sink inside the forward rail, barrel handle, full auto BCG, etc., in all it is about $2000 difference between the MCR and Shrike (both...
