I used to hunt with both a 3x9x40 and 3x9x50 vortex. The bigger glass was much easier over the last ten minutes of the night.
No luck this week in WVa. Chased a gobbler all around the farm one morning. Second day I called a group into 75 yards but they hung up in those woods for 2 hours. Gobbling, yelping, fighting. Just wouldn't come to the field edge. Walked into the woods and scared them off.

I have a blowout kit under my truck seat, but 99% of our usage in first aid is:
Bandaids, gauze and tape
Benadryl, pill and cream
Painkillers
Antibiotic ointment
Sunburn
Cold medicine
Max hit it on the head. Brompton is the best. The others will do the job. Make sure you keep a tire pump handle, a flat repair kit, and know how to use it.
