I don’t know what you mean by that but as far as I’m concerned anyone who’s on the rights train bandwagon is a clown and “One of their own” shoving it up there ass is par for the course so this is what everyone gets and yes it will get worse.
A person should be able to walk out of a church or a community meeting or even a county building for that matter with a permit in about 15 minutes or not have to have one at all if you really wanted to know what I think.
    Don’t believe me?
See all that’s been written and what will be written.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ should i say anymore??? said instructor is one of the only people in MD who can teach a 40 hour course that does everything on that list and is the only instructor that I know of who has it already (im sure there are more)
Yes, the root of all evil. Folks have sold their own families for it.

Bigger reality is why people in our own sphere did this, yes i realize money is the number one factor. I am not a happy camper.
Yeah for sure. This seems like business ahead of rights. I've seen it come out here from other trainers accusing me of somehow "cheating" the system by getting my own QHIC. I followed all the same requirements - I think the only thing they're mad about is me keeping my money.

I hope they chime in and offer their take

So FYI, the 40 hours is NOT in the bill at this time.. It was giving to a Senator and was told by 1 organization that instructors felt like this training was needed he was led to believe that lots of instructors felt this way which even if not in the bill they are giving MD more ideas to use for later. The senator is learning very quickly that is not true. The amendment so far will make it where MSP come up with a test and then an instructor has to go to a testing facility and take the test,, from my experience its usually a few hundred bucks minimum to take one of these test.

    Almost .

The Secretary will Devise a set of standards.

The Secretary will devise a test thereof .

The Secretary * May * contract with a testing company to administer , but is not required .

Right, this is what I read. Basically telling MSP to come up with a QHIC test.

I also pointed out to McKay the law of unintended consequences with 2A legislation in this state. If it can be abused it will be abused. 1 shot requirement for the HQL anyone?

Im sure it will be =... unless they decided to make it where MSP gives the test and then they only give it once a week from 3-4 pm on a Friday at the licensing headquarters.... Come to think of it thats probably more restrictive so thats probably what MGA would want.

They aren't our friends. If it can be used to make life harder it will be used to make life harder.

The mere fact to give the MSP more authority to restrict us is silly, one slippery slope of infringements and any GOP Senator that would offer government as a solution to a problem has not watched the news for 3 years or really a lifetime of the government screwing things up.

I am waiting for one political person to bring a bill forward for less government and to get off my back. And to me McKay looks like a dumbass
    IMHO

I still want to know where all the carry permit holder bloodbath is in states without training requirements

Yep. Yet we have instructors that are becoming more like the tyrants that run this state.
Fvck the instructors lobbying for this.

I really do want them to come here and explain their reasoning. I want to hear the logic. This wouldnt have come out if not for the request fulfilled by Mckays office, thank goodness for politicians who answer their constituents.
