I don’t know what you mean by that but as far as I’m concerned anyone who’s on the rights train bandwagon is a clown and “One of their own” shoving it up there ass is par for the course so this is what everyone gets and yes it will get worse.Time to change your affiliation
Yes, the root of all evil. Folks have sold their own families for it.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ should i say anymore??? said instructor is one of the only people in MD who can teach a 40 hour course that does everything on that list and is the only instructor that I know of who has it already (im sure there are more)
Would be nice to hear from anyone that got this hot potato rolling to McKay
Bigger reality is why people in our own sphere did this, yes i realize money is the number one factor. I am not a happy camper. My basic ask of McKay was a withdrawal of the amendment and a discussion with the community if he genuinely believes there is an issue
Yeah for sure. This seems like business ahead of rights. I've seen it come out here from other trainers accusing me of somehow "cheating" the system by getting my own QHIC. I followed all the same requirements - I think the only thing they're mad about is me keeping my money.Bigger reality is why people in our own sphere did this, yes i realize money is the number one factor. Right, this is what I read. Basically telling MSP to come up with a QHIC test.So FYI, the 40 hours is NOT in the bill at this time.. It was giving to a Senator and was told by 1 organization that instructors felt like this training was needed he was led to believe that lots of instructors felt this way which even if not in the bill they are giving MD more ideas to use for later. The senator is learning very quickly that is not true. The amendment so far will make it where MSP come up with a test and then an instructor has to go to a testing facility and take the test,, from my experience its usually a few hundred bucks minimum to take one of these test.
Im sure it will be =... unless they decided to make it where MSP gives the test and then they only give it once a week from 3-4 pm on a Friday at the licensing headquarters.... Come to think of it thats probably more restrictive so thats probably what MGA would want.Almost .
The Secretary will Devise a set of standards.
The Secretary will devise a test thereof .
The Secretary * May * contract with a testing company to administer , but is not required .
They aren't our friends. If it can be used to make life harder it will be used to make life harder.Im sure it will be =... unless they decided to make it where MSP gives the test and then they only give it once a week from 3-4 pm on a Friday at the licensing headquarters.... Come to think of it thats probably more restrictive so thats probably what MGA would want.
Gotcha. Complete misread in my part. Still ridiculous. The test is to become certified as an instructor, not to carry.
EXACTLY!I still want to know where all the carry permit holder bloodbath is in states without training requirements
