Multiple if your budget allows. Downside to a big safe, particularly if you like to shoot a variety, is having to pull a bunch of rifles out of the safe to get to the one you want that day. You're less inclined to shoot the ones in the back.
This is a follow-up sour grapes post, hope anyone who purchased one of these had a better experience than mine. Picked the Pro up in Dec. 2021 and finally decided to use it. First off, you gotta pay a subscription for the software. (monthly or $90 annually) Honestly don't remember noticing that...
For me, the standard-length barrel is much more comfortable for appendix carry than the one on the XL. The difference in barrel length wouldn't make much of a difference for a 2,3, 4 o'clock position.
365X, because I like the XL grip for handling, and the standard length barrel is much more appendix carry comfortable for me. My journey started with a used SAS, my in-store impression of the sights didn't carry over to the range. I still shoot it occasionally, as it would make a good backup or...
I purchased several Olight S10 approaching 10 years ago, and the rechargeable batteries are starting to crap out. Still works fine with regular CR123 batteries. I did find the same spec rechargeable battery on BatteryJunction, purchased a couple, and returned to the rechargeable lifestyle for...
As long as it's not been over a year since the purchase, CMP has always taken care of non-functioning issues for me? One time I mailed back the fire control group and they sent me a replacement (was getting multiple rounds fired per trigger pull) and the other time sent the whole rifle back for...
SAF has been my choice for the last couple of years, before that it was Appleseed. Shocked Amazon hasn't eliminated any Pro-2A organizations from the available list of charities.
Don't see myself using this one, received and put in the drawer with a bunch of other Spyderco's. I've grown accustomed to carrying a PM2 with the G-10 handles and this lightweight model just doesn't impress me.
I can open mine one-handed with my thumb using the hole in the blade and also close it with my index finger using the compression lock, which I've found to be my favorite type.
Your digits never have to get close to the blade edge while opening or closing.
Some folks can flick them open, but I...
A few months back I was at the range with a couple of new purchases, gave them a basic cleaning (run a couple patches or a bore-snake through the barrel, clean and grease the slide), and had no problems.
The guy next to me had a jam-o-matic. He'd just bought it, taken it to the range, pulled...
Can't remember where I got them, but have a enbloc of 30-06 garand rounds, with the holes in the sidewalls, and they're nickel, so they really stand apart from all my live rounds with brass casings.
Most local gun shops carry whatever variant they can get their hands on. Some will keep the standard capacity mags (aka 10+) and some will pin the mags at 10 rounds and include them in the sale. Also, if you order one on-line and have it shipped to a local FFL, the seller may or may not ship it...
