      G12/34 (G29Ö) Pickup

I wanted to share another rare bird I found. This is a G12/34 (also known as a G29Ö) These were modified Steyr Solothurn Colombian contract mausers that were build specifically for the Luftwaffe. Only around 30k were made, so these are generally very hard to find. This one is a very high SN and...

      S28 Rifle

Hi all, I've lurked the forum for several years, but haven't posted much. (Generally more on k98kforum) Here's a recently acquired unicorn I thought I'd share. My buddy found it out in the wild and I promptly talked him into selling. This is pretty in the weeds for mauser collecting: Matching...

      M1883 Reichsrevolver Rig

I like it! Reichsrevolvers are underappreciated in my opinion. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

Hey all, longtime lurker. Recent poster.

Thanks guys! I collect mausers because they aren't "fully semi automatic" and don't use "high capacity magazine clips" [emoji37] Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Maryland's Recognition of C&R HG Sales to C&R Holders

I bought a p38 from a friend here in MD. We went to the MSP Barracks and went through the process. The exemption from the HQL for C&R handguns was unexpected, but welcomed Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

The end of C&R for practical purposes?

I think in this climate dealers are being extra cautious. The regs are grey in many cases. It's the same with antique guns. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

      C&R wait times?

I've mulled getting a new one but ultimately decided to stay unlicensed-- I let mine expire in 2014 as I really didn't want/need it any more. My purchases are few these days and I have an FFL01 friend that is more than happy to do transfers should the need arise. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Found Another Holy Grail: German WWI Captured Belgian M1889 Mauser

I'd say you did really well! That is a really tough rifle to find. [emoji106] Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

      Widener's Unpeened K98 Mauser: 1939, 147 Sauer

Wow, I was wrong on the maker-- it's a Brunn if the WaA is 63. If you put it on ebay it will sell. Make sure you take good pictures, especially of the markings. There are always buyers for late war stuff.

      Widener's Unpeened K98 Mauser: 1939, 147 Sauer

It's definitely a late war bolt. Based on the machining, probably a Gustloff or a late Mauser Oberndorf. It doesn't look crappy enough to be a Steyr. The finish work was minimal by that point in the war. I have a few Kriegsmodells and the bolts are often not interchangeable (unlike earlier...

      STG 44

Picked mine up yesterday and was very impressed. Short of the change in caliber, this is an accurate reproduction and feels solid as a rock. If anyone is looking for one, Hog Sniper still had one left @ $625. Good guy if you don't mind the drive to Hanover, Pa. Check his post.
