STG 44

I've never field stripped a GSG but since you have one for comparison, how similar/different are the internals? Same bolt/carrier all the way down to the FCG?

Everywhere I've looked people seem to be sold out except the gunshop in Frederick asking $900!

Picked mine up yesterday and was very impressed. Short of the change in caliber, this is an accurate reproduction and feels solid as a rock. If anyone is looking for one, Hog Sniper still had one left @ $625. Good guy if you don't mind the drive to Hanover, Pa. Check his post.

Got it from Grabagun for $525. Couldn't pass it up at that price.

I just spoke to Jeff at Hillbilly Firearms who is doing a Galil build for me (fantastic Galil guy!). He just received his and all he said was... buy more magazines because you're going to want to shoot it a lot!
