      Walther P22

P-22 Reviews I have had a P-22 for 3+ years and love it. Like many here, my wife is equally drawn to it. Ton of fun to shoot and very accurate within its limits. Some on RFC have reported issues, but most of these were with early models and early mags. Here is a good link with lots of...

      Colt

Does anyone have an idea whether the new Colt M4 tactical rimfire (https://www.rrarms.com/catalog.php?prod=GM16) will be legal for sale in MD? I am tempted by the GSG-5, but my son would prefer to wait for the Colt/UMAREX M16 lookalike. I believe it will have a 25 round mag, not allowed in MD...

A tax of 5 cents per round

Given the House rules (below) I would agree that any serious consideration this year is unlikely. Next year might be a different story. On the other hand, this was considered and rejected in California last year, so maybe there is some hope.... INTRODUCTION OF BILL (1st READING OF...

      MSI Update - 3/10/06

Which five? Henry: You note below that "Five of those below have shown a clear shift towards our side". I've already written my local folks, but can you tell us which of these five are the most important to contact?

      Ammo purchase

Thanks for the clarification. My first thought on "GT" was Georgia Tech, but that didn't make much sense.....

      Lost a gun range

I have to agree that they could have done a lot more with the place and made some bad business decisions. I remember asking once if any free range time could be available if a bought a Glock 19 (for $550) from them and got a nasty "no" in response. Not a great way to drum up business. It is a...

      Lost a gun range

For those of you in Harford County, we have lost a place to shoot. The Gunpowder indoor range shut down on 8 May. The owners said that the lease prices were going up and business had not picked up, so they had to shut down. The place had seen better days, but it is a shame to lose a place to...

      Reliable FFL?

      Redcell: Terrific-thanks!

REDCELL here "how we doin all"

Went to Valley Arms today. The staff (Sandy) was helpful and it was an enjoyable experience. Indeed, I had an experience much like Butcher's. In my case, other gun shops had told me you could not order a Browning Buckmark in MD as Browning would not provide a fired case. Turns out that is not...

REDCELL here "how we doin all"

Butcher: Thanks! I'm looking for a S&W 908 or 5903 right now and will call Sandy on this to see what he can do.

Redcell: Do you have a phone # for H&P outdoors?

REDCELL here "how we doin all"

Butcher: Thanks for the information on Valley Guns. I gather you thought their prices were ok? Can you tell us what you paid for the CZ? It would be nice to find a place that is not overpriced. Also, I thought they were going out of business, as they had a sign up to that effect at a gun show...

      Reliable FFL?

Does anyone know a reliable FFL dealer in MD that will actually allow or faciliate an internet sale of a handgun? Giun prices here are much too high relative to what I see online, but my (limited) experience so far in MD is that the FFL's want to either (a) sell me something from their own stock...

      Places to shoot

JDH: Any idea how long it takes to get to Elk Neck SP from Bel Air? I normally shoot at Gunpowder Indoor Range in town here. but an outside alternative would be nice. There is a private range in Lancaster PA that is about 90 minutes away, but something free and closer would be nice.

      Hello

Agreed! I am relatively new to Maryland and while I like it a lot, the gun laws are not one of the more attractive features. I could use a place that we could share information and news and hope others will feel the same way.
