No. That wasn't me but my conviction was a ten year offense. A guy I know did 3 years in prison and got his record expunged too and had to get a pardon for another related crime. He just purchased his first gun last month. Just go through the process. Its very easy in Maryland.
I agree. I was told by a CJIS personal that the FBI doesn't have the record of your conviction. They get their information from the CJIS in your state therefore it has to be totally removed by CJIS for the FBI not to see it. This is usually the final stage of the expungement process because...
While I appreciate some info gain on here. Some of you sound sound like dick heads. When you break one of your bolts on your break rotors don’t you take the broken bolt into the store to have them match it up or so the store employee knows what the **** you’re talking about?
I need to mention it because I need to show him what I’m looking. All he had say was don’t pull it out. He did have to say or I’ll have to exercise his right which was I guess to shoot me but I thank y’all again for sharing your thoughts on the matter and I’ll make sure to only patronize a...
And all this was out of respect for the store policy and help with a holster and the response was more on lines of “if you step in the street I will run your ass over” That not right
I’m certainly not a new to the gun culture and I make sure I read and acknowledge any rules and regulations regarding firearms because potential mistakes can result in injury or death so I take the extra precautions.
I’m carrying a g26 in a clip on IWB. I was looking for a clip on of the same that will accommodate a g19 with rmr. I like leather because it’s comfortable and kydex scratches your gun so I felt the need to show him what I wanted
Did you read the part when I wrote “ I wanted to show him the holster to better explain what kind of holster I was looking for? I first wanted the thumbs up that it was ok to carry inside the store. I think that all my actions were relevant to very nature of my visit. I’m also a brown man so...
Thanks again. It’s cool tho. I have my regular gun stores I shop at I just so happened to be in that part of town yesterday. No worries and won’t patronize their business either.
I did not pull it out or even showed him the gun, I just informed him because I wanted him know just in case it wasn’t in the stores policy and so I could show him if it was ok what I was looking for. I think the guy saying just don’t pull it out or I’ll have to exercise my right was way too...
I was expecting him to say “ dude you’re good at lease.” I went to another gun store in Virginia a few hours later and same thing. I told him I was looking for a holster and by the way I’m carrying and showed him my holster and his reply was what I come to expect. “We don’t have anything that...
I say I felt some kind of way meaning I couldn’t determine if that was a threat or just an in appropriate response. I also told him I was carrying to show him what kind of holster I was looking for. IWB clip on
I visited a gun store in La Plata yesterday, I think the name of the store is Gun Monkey. Upon entering the front door I looked for any notifications about carrying a loaded firearm inside the store just to make sure I didn’t freak anybody out or violate any stores policy and I didn’t see any...
like i said before, it will be about 30 days and 1st letter of compliance is usually from the courts or SA because i guess they clear you in house first. You won't see your case on MD case search anymore then. You will likely see this happen first
It will take 30 days because from my understanding it has to get in front of judge, he then sends it out to all agencies involve, the SA, bail bondsman, CJIS, the jail, etc. basically anyone who has a part of that record, he orders it to be destroyed. In those 30 days, anyone or agencies...
