Technically, the undetectable firearms act already covers this. But yes, Serialization of privately made firearms is the new tyranny in Maryland. 80% lowers will need to be registered somehow as well.
I wish the infrastructure for doing this was implemented before the ruling. Because needing...
what i dont get is the clarity of "unfinished" does this apply to p80 needing holes drilled, or billet lowers needing fcg cavity milled?
does buying an ar15 kit with an 80 lower now constitute a firearm purchase? the buy build shoot kits from p80 were "80%" as well....just included the rest of...
looks like the only 80 / privately made firearms need to be serialized when sold through an ffl.
I'm not sure this is as bad of a ban as we thought. just some clarifying of terms for split frames, and suppressor housings to avoid further lawsuits or court cases having to deal with lowers not...
an a5 intermediate buffer like vltor, solgw, and bcm will take some of the harshness out of it similar to a rifle buffer, but still keep carbine stock compatibility. helps with the short barrel gas issues.
11.5 - 13.7 would be my vote for SBR. beyond that i would pin and weld to 16" and no stamp.
otherwise just keep the brace, put that tax money towards a good brace and muzzle device.
Or just get a can thats 30 cal capable and you can cross platform it with 556/300blk/308
i personally have a...
ar15 world... I use strike industries latch less as well, as I'm not hard on mine yet.

if i needed a reliability queen i would go Geissele airborne on sale/blem. (seems they were quite cheap as blems)...

likely. i just dont usually go to a barracks to stir up from what they tell me. keep it simple and move on. but i wont dissagree with you.
the guy there that day seemed to have a chip on his shoulder anyway. not everyone is as easy to deal with as the best of them.
The MSP desk jockey I talked to asked for mine. I got an m4e1 Aero lower stripped.
They messed up 2 other parts of the process and I had to go back and resubmit it.
YMMV that's my experience.
you do the 77r online as the buyer, you need to enter the sellers info into the 2nd section.
once completed you can take that info to state police.
MSP does the transfer paperwork and starts the 7 day waiting period.
you dont have to go back to the barracks.
i just transferred a lower 2 months...
perspective
i would say this would be a waste of time.
say you pin the MD and sleeve, then you need to remove...
you then grind off the weld, pull the pin and remove the MD and sleeve.
you now have a hole thru the barrel and muzzle device that might shift upon removal and retorquing...
trying to get all my ducks in a row to purchase a new stripped lower from a friend legally and locally to build an 11.5. I may want SBR one day but not yet.
filled out 77r, planning a visit to Jessup MDSP barracks this Friday.
do I need finger prints and/or 4473 background filled out or done...
Hey all I'm Chris. I'm in AACo currently and just have a few ARs.
I've been in Md my whole life, I'm a machinist by trade and have been since 2005.
Currently built an ar9, 556 and 300blk. looking to get into hand guns, 12g, maybe more.
