I'd say less rules, more personal responsibility. As previously noted, using critical thinking skills in evaluating new members posts AND Classifieds. Is their first post asking for specific help?, is the Classified ad well-written and specific, devoid of any hints as to a hidden agenda?
Yes. It's called "encourage independence on the easy stuff". There's already enough of you folks that feel a strong need to be Enablers to show how smart you are
Yep. At the last Baltimore County buyback I got that money for my cheap, unreliable/unusable 3rd party mags and a handgun price for a ruined P80 frame. Got new OEM Glock mags. Came away smiling
10-20 yrs may be overly optimistic. Too many variables to consider. Just open one occasionally and test. The survival experts say MREs not the best for reliable long term storage. Consider that they were never designed for that and they're made by the lowest bidders
I doubt that. Otherwise folks could do so many things independently like web site visits, Google Search etc for answers not opinions, "I think that..." and "I don't know but my Aunt Fanny did this" Unfortunately this forum is full of enablers
