I stopped by Chantilly VA and Fairfax VA Walmarts today and their shelves are bare as well. I was hoping ammo was not so hot an item in VA. The one store I stopped at had about 3 guys standing looking in the case to see what they had.

Great year so far for gun owners. Can't find ammo for the ones we have that maybe we won't be able to keep.

Frederick and Mt. Airy Walmarts just about tapped out yesterday afternoon except for some .380 and a few shot shells, mostly .410. Ordered Fiocchi .22LR from Midway; .223 from Cabela's is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. This is nuts.

The Walmart in Lansdowne was out of about everything except .22 Short - plenty of that! Lady informed me that they will still continue to carry ammo and to check back as they were expecting a shipment.
