That's a freight surcharge on safes and the code does not work for that unfortunately; however, there's a sale on Browning safes currently for which the 10% code applies AND there's a MIR too...so could still be worth it.
Thanks! Needed some pills and some of what I wanted was already on sale. Cabelas tends to run high on bullets, but with an additional 10% off plus free shipping over $99, the prices were definitely right.

40 s&w $.2448 love that 40 is "out of style" on gun forums! Can 40 fall to 9mm prices?

I notice bullet type of the .30 cpr ammo is listed as MCBT. I assume MC is metal cased but is that the same as FMJ?

Metal Cased Boat Tail. I haven't the foggiest what the difference between FMJBT and MCBT is, but it could be the construction of the jacket?

That was correct.
I got a $179 Vortex Strikefire II red dot, that was on sale for $129, for $112.82 total after the 10% off and cashing in a few Cabela bucks I forgot I even had.
I had looked at it probably 50 times over the weekend, and finally, last night about 10pm, went ahead and ordered it...
Can you guys recommend a brand of 5.56 NATO ammo that does not contain a metal jacket that I can buy at Cabelas during this sale? The reason is that I was not allowed to use the metal jacketed 5.56 NATO ammo that I took with me to The Machine Gun Nest. They placed a magnet on my green tip ammo and when it attracted the cartridges, they told me that it was not allowed. So now I need to purchase a different type of ammo in order to shoot at TMGN. Thanks for your advice.
