I have an old friend moving to Virginia in the not too distant future, and while he will have a number of awesome ranges near him, he has indicated that he may want to go shooting together here in Maryland, for old-time's sake.

I pretty much only use Myrtle Grove, so I'm not sure if non-MD residents would be able to get the $20/year license. I am sure the $5/day licenses would work, but they seem annoying to deal with if we primarily shoot on weekends.

Anyone have any experience getting a yearly license with a VA(or any other state) ID? I would half-expect the price to be ludicrously higher, like out of state hunting and fishing tags, but I have no actual clue on this.

    Thanks for any input.

I just looked at the Form Myrtle Grove has you have to fill out to get a Range Permit for the year. The in State Residents, and out of State Residents are charged the same amount of $20.00 for the year. The Permit does say out of State Residents, but the fee is the same.
