I was glad to see that the 'possible PTSD' issue got some comments.

I do agree with all of you though - I think it's a Marine saying that it's 'better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.'

If you carry a firearm, you should take a course from Mas Ayoob or one of the other Personal Protection instructors. While there is shooting in all the courses, there is more about "what happens after."

Before you carry a firearm for protection, you really need to have the will to use it. Because if you can't, you are only putting yourself and maybe others in harm's way.
