Normally it's watch what people do rather than what they say. This is a case where Biden has already said what he plans on doing...putting Beto in charge of eliminating so called bad firearms from not just circulation but altogether. Beto has already said that he wants to do just that. While we know that Dementia Joe reads from a script prepared by his handlers (he's in gaffe city when he strays from his script)...his handlers and supporters want that as well.

There's no way this would not be played out in a Biden Administration...add to that the lawsuits file today by the NY and DC AGs against the NRA to force it out of business. Does anyone believe that's only a coincidence and not coordinated? Attempting to destroy the NRA concurrently with trying to pass even more unconstitutional laws is simply art of the larger strategy of disarming the country in pursuit of the Marxist-Socialist Utopia they've dreamed about for decades.

The NRA isn't perfect...it may well have done some things that crossed the line...I don't know the truth of the internal struggles there. The Democrats/Marxists are trying to crate a perfect storm to keep opposition off-balance to gain power...a multi-pronged strategy...lawsuits...implied or outright support for insurrectionist groups...refusing to help ordinary Americans from suffering during the pandemic (and blaming it on Republicans)...trying to keep the economy down for political gain. They don't give a rodent's rectum about what is right...justice or anything else. Total and absolute power and the exercising it is their goal.

Maybe.

But the article I linked presents the perspective of many liberal gun owners, which is that much of the gun regulation control is both racist and disproportionately affects lower income individuals. She goes further to point out just how bad Bidenís proposals are, how they wonít achieve any stated goals of gun regulation and will only serve to further step on the rights of the working class.

Biden’s gun control plan is terrible for working class firearm owners
Who the hell says "Working Class" besides elderly Marxists?

You mean, like, everyone who has a job?

Biden and apparently his staff are years behind the power curve of the average voter wants, even Liberal ones. The reason we can't buy ammo or more guns now is because they're a lot of scared Liberals out there who suddenly realized that it's really scary out there and now are proud gun owners. Don't get me wrong they're still dipskeet Liberals at heart, but it only shows Biden really doesn't have anything revolutionary to offer other than that he's not Trump. Even his BIG green-energy initiative is not energizing his base, because even those idiots know his plans are all 10year old ideas of subsidies are expensive and the market has already been moving in that direction anyways; e.g. Tesla's popularity, hell even I would love to own one; commercial construction, the firms are already looking to create energy efficient improvements to their designs because businesses want to save money.

It may still any man's bet as to whether Biden is better than having Trump in office is enough, but I am banking it's not because in about two months without a huge stimulus, people will suddenly start reminisce about those days with the lowest unemployment in 50 years. All brought to us by virtual of the Trump's corporate tax cut, which Biden wants to reverse.

It's just a way of showing they include all points of view. Not often but it give them the ability to say so.

It's not all sweetness and light.

Quote:
Protesters in various cities have been met with violence from self-proclaimed white supremacists, militias and assorted right-wing malcontents with money to burn on the biggest guns they can find. In some cases, armed community members have stepped up to serve as a barrier between the people and those who seek to cause them harm. Whether anyone ďneedsĒ an AR-15 is besides the point; simply put, heavily armed right-wing militia members have threatened protesters, and others on the right have even shot at them. With that in mind, some folks donít want to be left empty-handed when self-proclaimed white supremacists or other right-wing extremists come marching into their community.

* * *

People like Mark McCloskey, the lawyer made infamous for brandishing his AR-15 at Black Lives Matter protesters as they walked past his sprawling St. Louis mansion, will be able to pay whatever fees Biden throws at them, and will thus be able to hold onto as many weapons as they like.

The leftist media and the insurrectionists have been blaming the violence on the police and right-wingers...which is laughable. The right wing people that are getting the attention are generally disorganized and in small numbers. Unfortunately some have played into the hands of the leftists and given them someone else to blame...but they're well practiced in the Big Lie techniques...as are the media and politicians. It's just a way of deflecting blame and truth elsewhere. They've offered no evidence and covered for the rioters.

Denial is a river in Egypt and the WaPo and others live there.
