Is there a range in the area that you're aware of which would have a selection of HK handguns to shoot? Never had one in my hand but damn does the HK45 and the USP appeal to me. Let alone the P7 but that's a pipe dream for me.
TMGN in Frederick might have them. HK is kind of a niche gun, when compared to Glock or Ruger. If you can't find someplace, drop me a pm.

Pic of my pair of Dan Wessons. By the way, your welcome that anyone in Maryland can now purchase a 2020 Dan Wesson Valor - I'm the one who submitted the petition to have it added to the Maryland Handgun Roster.

I gotta get better sights on my RIA M1911A1 G.I. model. :sad20:

Point and shoot works well enough at close range with impact center of mass, but I'd like to tighten up my groups farther out. Not happening with that teeny tiny front sight post.

Lol. I was actually referring to pistol sights not web sites. But I am grateful for the guidance and have found those websites to be full of information.

    Thanks again everyone

Sorry about that. One of my favorites are the 10-8 rear sights for the GI dovetail. Then a BoMar type front, with appropriate sized tenon .175” to .185” tall. Both from Brownells and shipping charge on small parts is reasonable.

So...this happened today-- :) Picked up the S&W 1911PD Gunsite Edition from the FFL. Drilled a bullseye first round down range at 7M...I'm a happy man tonight. The scandium alloy frame-- I like it.
