Ok, now I have to go fondle my 1911s again. They are my favorite pistols...
New used toy
The EMP was never a low cost item. Was pricey for awhile, then got more reasonable. Popular gun. The early ones had a few specimens with feed issues, magazine based IIRC. They straightened that out fairly quick.
Never had one, never shot one. Just what I garnered from the 1911forum.
1911Addicts, I hate that forumI can’t tell how many I had. How many I sold to thin the herd. How many I sold to fund my son and I to Philmont, NM. I can’t say how many I have. I do know the 1911 is not quite half my number of handguns. They do get fruitful and multiply. Very few of mine are close to or as produced. There is a website..1911addicts. Amply named.
My very favorite handgun...5.5” Ruger Redhawk.
No, the Mustang was a different model. This is a Government model. It is mini 1911
Looks like a Mustang to me. Even the factory manual lists the Mustang on the cover. The factory manuals are generic to several models.

Here you go. Colt Govt. (top), Mustang (bottom). Govt. has a longer barrel and bushing.
Had to look this one up. I was thinking Mustang vs Pony. Totally forgot about the Government .380. Smallest I owned was the Officers model.
Sounds like you get the same “yes sir!” I get at gun shows when you find parts tables.
