Does the mag release take some getting used to? How about when you go back and forth between it and other handguns?

I don't have to 'think' about shifting or not shifting when I drive my car (stick) or my F150, I just do what is needed automatically, so I assume it's somewhat similar... with muscle memory eventually you just 'know' which action is correct depending upon which you have in your hand?

I have been shooting H&Ks for years, so tough for me to be a good judge. That said, I don't have any problem changing between the paddle release or the button release. I think the trick with the paddle release is to use your index finger, since the thumb doesn't reach. So, there is a small learning curve. I prefer the paddle release.
