Could you post the order of the bills when they get posted? And would you save a fellow patriot a seat if you are able? I don’t take up much room and you can stick me next to a mommy as a buffer If you want

Seats filled up quickly. I'll post if anything opens up

While we are waiting for the hearing to begin:

Revealing video about the contemptuous treatment of the law-abiding by the MD House of Delegates Judiciary Committee, produced by Maryland Shall Issue®

To research all the gun bills use the excellent Maryland Shall Issue® Bill Tracker:

    https://www.marylandshallissue.org/jmain/legislation-tracker/bill-tracker

Keep up to date with all the bills at: tinyurl.com/guns2020

Contact your reps and tell them not to criminalize Maryland gun owners!

Maryland Shall Issue® is an all volunteer, non-partisan organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of gun owners' rights in Maryland. It seeks to educate the community about the right of self-protection, the safe handling of firearms, and the responsibility that goes with carrying a firearm in public.

HB4 would criminalize the private transfer, sale, and LOANS of long guns in Maryland. All such actions would require seeking a participating FFL dealer to facilitate a NICS check at your cost. The dealer may charge any fee they deem "reasonable."

Not quite. Loans are out and fee is to not exceed $30.

Check the following thread for the latest on HB4/SB208. https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=241188 The OP lists the amendments and status.

Notice that Chairman Clippinger couldn’t be bothered to leave the Chair when he wanted to testify in favor of his own bill, HB 1629.

Clippinger should have passed the gavel of the Chair to the Vice-chair (or the next senior member of the Judiciary Committee) and moved himself to the witness table before he advocated for his own bill.

This deliberate act demonstrates that these DemocRats have become so contemptuous of our our legislative process that they will dispense with even the appearance of respect for the American legislative tradition, and will just conduct their legislative short-cuts in public.

    This is Third World stuff.

There is a seat next to me, on the right side, with a backpack and coat that has been sitting on it since the start of the hearing. I have not seen who belongs to it. No one has has sat there at all...so, if you want
    it
