.300 AR mags

Quick question I searched but my google fu sucks does the .300 use the same 5.56 magazines for the AR-15 platform? I am guessing yes. But do I have to change the follower in the mags?

I don't believe you do. The only thing you have to change is the barrel. Mags and bcg are the same for .300 blk and 5.56

300 blackout uses unmodified 556 mags. I have used my pmags with factory blackout.

If your talking another caliber then the answer might change
