I've been loading 32 ACP for some time now and recently decided to start loading 32 S&W Long for a revolver. A couple of hours on the web led me to several posts/opinions claiming that some of the dies are interchangeable. Seems to be a diversity of opinion on this. I am well aware of the SAAMI specs on the two cartridges and I will probably just buy another set of dies out of an overabundance of anality, but I'm wondering whether anyone here has interchanged these and what your experience was?

On the Lee website, .32 ACP and .32 S&W-L use the same sizer and factory crimp die. The seater and (obviously ) shellholders are different, so die sets have different SKU's.
I think Lee is the only brand that saves money by not stamping different names on the same die. For example, I ordered a sizer for .38 S&W. It is stamped .38 Auto (Super).
Depending on your press and setup it may be worth having the extra dies to avoid adjustment during change over, but you already knew that.
