Thought it looked like a badass option for a new AR build.
+1I don't own one, but I can give you a nod for the Alexander Arms 50 Beowulf. I enjoy mine. Very reliable too.
Given that the standard capacity AR mag only holds 10 rounds of 458 SOCOM, does that mean we can buy and sell standard capacity AR mags in MD and claim they are 458 SOCOM mags?

Not that anyone needs a reason, just wondering what the practical application is? Shot one courtesy of a fellow shooter at MGN in Frederick a few months ago. Definitely a bad ass round. Would not want to be on the receiving end of this one. Also left a bruise on the owner's shoulder after a magazine or two. I've asked around but no one has been able to answer what the practical application, other than shooting through a cinder block wall, would be for this round. This is not meant to be critical post but a real inquiry because i'm curious about this (P.S. 5 more posts to the promise land for me!!!!).
Super large round with 1900+ fps velocity and able to be chambered in an AR and suppressed. good for larger game and used in AR mags easily.
Sold. You have won me over.
Upto 500 gr projectile!
580gr, solid steel-tipped projectile.
Yep, been there, done that already.
Wow! Ha ha.

So would this be a dangerous game round? Like Cape Buffalo or Kodiak Bear?
