I just bought 500 rds from Bollingers and being new to higher cal rifles (higher than 2 anyway) What is the significance of green tip? What does it mean?

Green tip designation is M855 62 grain bullet with a steel penetrating core. For use against light armor. Such as ballistic vests, cars, plate steel and the like. If you wish to use it local Hap Baker does NOT allow it. So you'll have to find a different range or private land to utilize.

Hap Baker does allow green tip ammo, we do not allow black tip A.P. rounds
