6.5 Carcano Headspace Gauge

Does anyone have a 6.5 Carcano head space gauge that I could borrow? I want to check my Italian vetterli 1870/78/15 before I try even loading for it.

Looks like no one has one, have you tried making the first reload real long and gently attempting to chamber it and keep slowly working it down till it feeds and you just barley feel it grab? It worked like a charm for me on a pesky 7mm mag

No I went ahead and just ordered a no go gauge from PTG
