77R Approvals being delayed due to HGP applications surge?

So i was expecting to see the normal "not disapproved" email at 0600 this morning on a 77R i submitted at the dealer last week (8/4). First time in lets just say more than a few successful transactions that hasn't hit the 7 day mark and always a 0600 email. ( I don't count the one from the server cluster FVck a few years ago. So I log in and check the app.... says still pending but has a NICS date of yesterday (8/10). I had picked up another 77R transfer a few weeks ago (yes I'm a Designated Collector) right on time and just had my HGP permit approved last week as well.

Anyone else seeing delays on 77R's?

but 7th day release is also a thing, ask your FFL.

My last one I got the e-mail on day 8. Dealer wouldn't let me pick up on day 7.

yeah, unfortunately this is my first buy at this particular FFL because he had a certain something in stock that I'd been looking for . We'll see how the day goes. Can't hurt to ask.

This is should be something to ask your FLL going forward before you purchase. 77rs will be delayed for a while, until MSP has cleared the HGP backlog.

Same with me, no delays or issues.

Should only take 15-20 minutes not 8 days when it's suppose to be 7.

Well I maybe finding out if there is a delay, just bought a pistol today. So I guess I will see next friday if there is delays.
