Probably loaded pretty hot considering it says not to use in P-1/P-38s. Pakistani surplus... not sure I would use Pakistani new.

So, here's the scoop with POF 9mm:
70's was pretty good
80's was extremely uneven, and not recommended

If this is really 70's ammo, it's a decent buy. I might go for a 500rd order just to see what it's like.

Pakistani Surplus 9mm "2Z" is machine gun ammo with hard primers. it will not go bang in a pistol. it would work in carbines though such as an Uzi, 9mm ar, or even a hi-point.

Paki ammo: I got it to go bang consistently, but will never buy it again. I went through probably 250 rounds in a few different handguns. It's dirty, hot, and the only ammo to ever shoot chunky sparks back in my face. Great for SMGs maybe.

They use a Berdan primer, not the the most ideal if you want to reload.

Is it safe to shoot Pakistani ammo that old? (I've shot old US surplus but never anything from elsewhere that I know of)

i've shot ammo from the 30's, as long as it has been stored properly, no worries mate.
