9mm data for WST is very hard to find. Hodgdon will not tell you is is okay to use for 9mm. There is some old data in the Speer #14 book for .45 ACP. That is where I use it. There are guys on the brianenos forum that swear by it for 9mm and 45 ACP.

I like them. They reload easily, ramp smoothly into chambers, and take good care of my barrels.

Sounds like you are about ready for some serious winter reloading.

1k in 9mm from extreme and 250 .45acp lswc. All good to go! Just need the time to sit in front of the bench.

    Thanks for the recipe thread.
Just what I was looking for. Just starting to get into reloading and was gonna start with 9mm (for G19) and 45 acp for couple guns.

IF I COULD ONLY FIND POWDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH.

Even online with the stupid high shipping cost they are sold out of bout everything.

    Any info appreciated.

    147 XTP CCI SP 1.12OAL 6gr power pistol 1150fps 5"BBL
    124 XTP CCI SP 1.12OAL 7gr power pistol 1300fps 5"BBL

They are worked up from a datasheet with a chrony in my M&P pro with aftermarket barrel and heavier 19#recoil spring, without working them up, or if your measurements are off, or you have setback you stand a good chance at damaging something. Have shot them out of other pistols, and they are really hot, but run fine, reaches Underwood's +p+ and approach some 357Sig or 38 super velocities. It's a long OAL for XTPs, and you need to make sure you have enough freebore, but it increases case capacity and velocity while keeping pressure lower, no signs of overpressure, and primers look better than some factory +p or +p+ loads.

2 powders no one has mentioned

Been loading the 9 for almost 40 years. When I first started brass ID was all over the place with every manufacturer doing their own thing.

My favorite powders for the 9 are Blue Dot, 3N37, Unique and Bullseye.

90gr XTP over 4.5 Bullseye is fast and accurate. Chronos @ over 1400 fps

Any 115 JHP over 8.5 Blue Dot is leathal. Very accurate and chronos at 1320 fps.

Any 115 bullet over 5.7-6.3 of Unique will be accurate.

As usual reduce by 10% and consult a reputable loading manual. Seating depth is critical with the Blue Dot Load and that will vary from bullet to bullet. I also use a firm taper crimp on all loads.
