I'm getting a new XD in 9mm.

tests better from what i've read.

Just about any modern hollowpoint self defense round is going to perform well.

Try what your xd likes, i'm using speer and golden sabres with mine.

My 9mm is just a fun gun and I don't keep it at the ready for self defense so I usually just shoot Georgia Arms Canned Heat @ $87 per 500.

for plinking the wally world white box winchester works fine, value pack is a little over $15 for 100 rnds.
