-I keep a permanent keyword search for Abercrombie & Fitch holsters up on Evil Pay in the hope of one day scoring one of their desirable Luger models. While that search goes on I got a different hit recently that piqued my interest. It was a Model 1912 swivel holster built by an unknown manufacturer for Abercrombie & Fitch. These were intended for commercial sale to officers. I ran a hard online search for any additional info, like on the manufacturer, but these puppies are not exactly common. The only previous sales I could find were back in 2011 at RIA and Joe Salter.
-So I threw a very modest bid at it and was able to bring it home for even less (as I've mentioned before, the holidays are a good time for bargain hunting). While I haven't been in the market for an early Colt 1911, happy with my Springfield 1911, this might motivate me to keep an eye out for one to park in this holster.
