Thanks, I'd like to get the 24.8 grain up around 955 fps and see how accurate they are. I think that's a bit optimistic with a stock gun. Time will tell.40+ FPE, not too shabby.

Good reminder....I will run my bore snake through mine this evening....One thing I found out that I never really had a problem with in lower powered guns. You have to clean these or groups will start to open up. I use CLP and the patches come out black. I guess it has something to do with the high velocity. ( I am using a 2500 PSI setting on the regulator) Dry patches after keep it from dieseling.
This morning I shot about 20 rounds at 50yards. Leaning on my pickup, I managed to keep a one inch group with Diablo field 25 gn pellets. I need to order more pellets from Pyramid Air soon.
Nice....will give that a shot.I have the same problem with my .22 bullet trap ringing even with .22 pellets. Now I have switched to another type of pellet trap. I bought some play sand and fill old coffee cans and orange juice bottles with it. If you dampen the sand, it lasts longer than the can or plastic bottle. I put 1 or 11/2 inch stickers on the target and just rotate it to a new spot when needed. When the can or bottle is ready for the recycling bin, I shake out the sand, reclaim the lead for making bullets and pour it in another container.
The nice thing about these is I can set them all about the woods instead of just one position. If you drink coffee and juice like we do, you will have a good supply of containers in no time.
I just got back from tuning my gun for 15.89 grain hades pellets. The reg is set to 1200 psi and the hammer spring is 1.5 turns in. I'm getting 975-990 fps over a 30 shot strings. That works out to 27-28 fpe. The tune is pretty accurate for the Crossman pellets and very accurate for the hades.
ETA with the donnyfl sumo at this tune the gun makes almost no noise at all.
