All the AK's in MD have dried up!

After going to several gun stores around the Balt area and several MD gun shows, I've concluded that all the AKM's have dried up. Without a doubt its drove the WASR's price up $100 in the past 2 years. Only thing I've seen lately are CAI builds.

I've seen a few in the PA area but none in Republik. I think J&K Pawn has a WASR and Bel Air Gun had a Maadi at the Parkville Show. Sad times my friends....sad times

Have Mike ship one to a local FFL. Inspect it, call Mike saying "I will buy it" and then send him a check, and have local FFL transfer the gun for you.

The AK market is very tight right now and prices are high we expect this to continue until mid 2013. If you can find a good deal on one buy it prices will only go higher as we get closer to the election time.

The century built AK's are decent for the price. Especially if you can pick one out. I got a nice yugo underfolder and a RPk.

Funny thing is, i tried to sell one of these a few months ago and only had low ball offers.

FPS, I believe your best bet if you don't find one locally is classified from other forums, namely AK forum, AK files, and especially AR 15's AK section you can still find decent deals
