I have a Sig mounted w Romeo Zero, don’t like the fact that you have to remove sight to replace battery. Is there an alternative reflex sight that someone has experience with and would recommend?

What kind of price point are you looking at?

I have two Trij RMRs and a Swampfox Sentinel that require the same. I take them off once a year to change out the batteries as I change all the batteries in my optics the same time. It doesn't bother me at all. I don't need to rezero.

(I realize this is the IP forum)

The 507k and the EPS Carry share the same footprint of that plastic Romeo Zero.

They have battery tray that unscrews and slides out the side and does not require dismount of the optic to change the battery.

They have proven themselves to be a reliable carry optic IMO.

I second this. I got the green 6 MOA dot and am very happy with it.

I switched from Romeo to Holosun on my 365 XL. I have no regrets. The multiple reticle capacity is excellent. For precision I use the dot; for EDC I run the 32 MOA circle.

Thanks Fox I have been looking at the 507&407 both but haven’t made a decision.

I thought I put a 407 on my 365x but maybe it is a 507 because I have multiple reticles. I like it a lot. I am thinking the 507 green for my CR920 with solar panel or the EPS with Green.

I have RMR’s on a Gen 5 Glock 22 and Gen 5 Glock 45 I understand your concern with battery changes. I also have a Holosun 507k on a Glock 48 and my favorite red dot, a Trijicon SRO, on a second Glock 48. Both the Holosun and the Trijicon SRO don’t require you to remove the sight to change the battery. If you haven’t tried an SRO you really should. The window is huge relative to the RMR and 507k making picking up the dot somewhat easier. But with the enough practice any of these dots will become second nature to use.

It's really hard to beat the holosun 507k in features and pricing. It's on sale on primary arms and you may even find it cheaper on reddit gafs now and then. If you get a discount for military or LE on primary arms, log out and it's cheaper because of the sale. If you get discounts at eurooptic it's even cheaper and probably 1 day shipping.
