America’s militiamen resurgent since Obama election​

The men file silently down the narrow snow-covered path, each in winter camouflage, eyes forward and rifle ready.

This is not a unit of the US armed forces or the National Guard, the dozen or so men are members of the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia (SMVM), regular citizens banded together, they say, to defend their country, neighbourhoods and, above all, the US constitution...

Too bad most people involved in militias feel intimidated by the government and media and so hide instead of presenting their views. Militias can do a lot of good for communities and they need to show that.

This is racist crap. Racism manifests it's self in many form in the media, and this is a prime example. One of the problems that the 2.A supporters have to deal with is the fact that the media feels it's important to portray gun owners and as right wing White racists. There are a very very large population of Black gun owners who are very Pro-2.A, but we are not going to walk around in the woods during the winter in snow like these dudes, it's just not going to happen. Also did anyone notice that the article stated in the 90's militia membership was on the rise, well let's ask ourselves who was the President in the 90's? It's just a natural trend for Americans to try to attempt to protect the Rights we still have, also gun ownership is way up after the last election as well.

this grp has been written about before... as long as they aren't breaking any laws I think it's a non story, as far as if they are racist or not I couldn't answer.... the fact that they don't have a black member I don't think decides that issue one way or another ..... I think a lot of these grps are around just most are low key which is better for them I think
