That's nice. I'm sure for the children present that was a scary ordeal.
Why would anyone want to fvck with these people? They seem to mind their own business and go about things quietly and peacefully.

I hope they find them and justice is served.

in my opinion people mess with the to see if they are truly pacifists. They try and get a reaction from them. Also i think some folks are jealous of them since they are self sufficient and they keep to themselves. somehow that bothers some folks. i know a lot of Amish and i havent found one yet that i thought was untrustworthy or hard to get along with.

i hope they find the scum that did this and hang them out to dry.

I think it's amazing that even though the horse was mortally wounded, he continued his duty and brought the family home. The Amish have a reputation of fine breeding of their animals.

They also have a reputation of running their horses into the ground beyond what is humane. If you've ever been to a horse auction in southern PA where they will take their horses to who have been seriously neglected.

Maybe had they stopped and called a vet to take care of the beast it would have survived.

Bullies come in all ages. They persecute the weak and passive.
I hope they don't go peacefully when they're caught.
