Just a reminder…
I bought a lot of 40 S&W from a member here. I didn’t see any signs of reloading but i have had my suspicions. He did tell me the ammo was kept in a shed. Should have been a red flag there. Got some low reports as I was shooting and accuracy (3-5” groups) was not to what this pistol was previously capable of.
Shot some known good condition factory fodder, 180 grain TMC Blazer. Got the pictured 5 shot group…only group I shot with the known good ammo. Distance was 25 yards.
So if you are experiencing poorer than expected performance from your blaster, keep a couple boxes of known good ammo to verify the pistol. I’ve done this over the years and it will put your mind at ease.
FWIW, this pistol is one of my builds with a Kart barrel, Kimber slide, Foster (Caspian) frame.
