    Inflation is not that high. Don't see how that factors in. Gas prices on the other hand - I hadn[t thought about the impact that would have on ammo prices.

    CTD is at it again, the latest catalog I got from them had a countdown to 12/21/12 on it. I laughed. If they can't fear monger over Obama, they'll fear monger over something else. Any excuse to increase demand and maybe prices, too!

    yes. Inflation is just under 3% so far this year and that is about in line with the avg for the last 10 years and historic averages of around 3%. Am I missing something?

    Remember that line in the movie "Airplane" where the guy says "I picked a bad week to stop sniffing glue?" Well I feel that way about starting to stock up on ammo. I picked a bad time to start stocking up on ammo what with this 2012 end of the world stuff, election, crazy fuel prices,high brass & copper prices, renewed interest in stocking up on ammo to fight off zombies... Oh brother!!
