I need to tighten the receiver extension castle nut on my pre-ban AR build and can't justify spending $70 for a tool I may only use once or twice. If anybody has a solution that uses a common tool, knows where I can get a tool dirt cheap, or would be willing to let me borrow theirs for five minutes, I'd appreciate it!

A basic spanner wrench will get the job done.

Get one with a pivoting hook.

Take the nut with you to gauge size.

    ACE Hardware or Sears.
