I do. Haven't fired it though. That's one of my "Schwarzennegger Special" collectors' items. It lives next to the SPAS-12.

i have an AR-180: very fun rifle. only real issue with it is the whole magazine thing.

I remember seeing one NIB for $599 at a Howard Co Gun show several years ago. It was at the very first table in the front, on a rack calling to me like the Sirens.. :sad:

Considering that the rifle never jad a chance to evolve like the AR15 it really is quite a rifle. And it was ahead of its time with the QD optic.
Separately someone needs to write a book about how Armalite blew it from a business stand point by selling the AR 15 to Colt, only to see it become such a success.

Well there is a big difference between Colt marketing a new rifle to the DoD versus a small division of a declining aircraft manufacturer...

It did evolve and into multiple samples too! It became:

Japanese Type 89
Singaporean SAR-80
Italian Beretta AR-70
German H&K G-36

And they even made a bullpup version called the L85 out of Britain
