Anyone have Vangcomp work?

Got a Tac14 Braced I am looking at sending out to get ported and proper sights put on from them and wanted to see if anyone had previously gone through the process or purchased one of their complete builds?

Looks legit, but I have no experience with them.

The one thing that may be of concern, all that porting could be problematic if you shoot from below you line of sight, as in shooting from the hip. Again, no personal experience there either.

My blog partner had at least one of his barrels that got "the treatment" from them. He's been very pleased with their work.

Their choke work is excellent and definitely worth it if you are the kind of person who just goes and buys whatever kind of buckshot and then needs it to perform.

I mostly buy Federal 8 Pellet Flite Control in bulk and my shotguns shoot it like a laser (to the point that an instructor once asked me if I'd had Vang Comp work over my gun), so I never bothered.

He did report that the recoil was reduced somewhat as well.

Unfortunately, he never wrote a singular article on the Vang Comp work, but if you search the site under "shotgun" or "vang", you can find most of what he wrote.
