    Im thinking about giving this powder a try for 45ACP and .357MAG target loads.

    Hows it meter? How clean is it? Any other comments?

    Used it 45 ACP. Meters well, like W231 or any of the fine grain ball powders. Burns relatively clean, may leave a little soot as I recall. I usually load W231 (HP38) or Titegroup in 45 ACP.

    Never tried it in 357 Mag.

    bought some No.5 at the Dulles show. As soon as this next wave of insanity at school subsides, testing will begin.


    Does anyone have a Hornady Reloading Manual? I am specifically looking for their data on the 180gr XTP using WW296 for .357 Magnum. Data for H110 would suffice as a technician from Hogdgon told me today that 296 and 110 is the same powder.
