I've been using H4895 and IMR4064 in 30-06 loads for my M1 Garand with good results. Iv'e been using BLC2 in some 308 loads for my AR-10. BLC2 meters like a dream. I believe BLC2 has an appropriate burn rate for the M1 Garand.
Has anyone had any first hand experience with BLC2 and 150gr/168gr bullets in the M1 Garand?

    Nope. Sticking with H4895.

As interest, if you are punching paper at 100 yards, put some 155 Nosler Custom comps on your order to try them out. I'm having great luck with them over the 168 SMK in both the Garand and the Springer. In fact, I shot a clean at the recent Woodstock match with the Springer and that bullet.

Not in a Garand but I used in my 1903A4 and I swear I thought my firing pin had broke. There was a delay when the hammer fell. Then tried in 4895 and all was OK. Possibly a burn rate issue for 30-06.

Have seen a couple list loads with it, although seems most manuals list magnum primers with it. Despite H4895 not metering all that great being a stick powder, I've had really good results with it, good accuracy/velocity/low spread(with 46gr under 150gr) with reliable and gentle cycling, no reason to try much else for most 30cal service rifle calibers.

I've been loading 47.5 grs. H4895 with Hornady 150 gr. FMC, LC brass, and CCI-200 primers with great accuracy in a CMP service grade. Only reason I asked about the BLC2 is that is what I've been feeding an Armalite AR-10 (308) with BLC2 and Hornady 150 gr. FMC and Hornady 168 gr. BTHP with good results. I'm using magnum primers (CCI-250) in these 308 loads.
