Finally got dad and my son to the range today. From 22lr to 45-70 we had a few calibers covered. Got the Remmy 700 sighted in, Dad's almost (he needs a new rail for the Enfield), Ryan's (my son) 10/22 scoped and sighted in then Dad's Henry 22lr. He was hitting the target at 100 yards with the Ruger using the open sights. 45/70 left one hell of an impression on my shoulder after four shots (Hornady Lever Revolution)and the 1948 336 in 32 special was a bit punchy too. After that we went to the pistol range. The new Gen 3 Glock 19 did not let me down, wow that thing is awesome. The SR40 was okay, my reloads were much better then the Federal cheapies from Waly world. Ruger Vacaro was fun too (38/.357) rolls in your hand just like the Uberti in 45 Colt (still like the 45 colt better). All in all a good day.

Dad with his 1918 Enfield I gave him a few years back. Although bubba'ed when I got her she is a good shooter. He finished the stock that is on her now.

A little wheel gun action. Ryan loves the single action wheelguns.

Thats awesome! Enjoy those times. Any day at the range is a good day.

You must be in Bay/Ocean area, the mounds look likes very sandy - not lumpy & rocky like our mountain soil!

What 45/70 are you shooting? Ive been contemplating adding a 45/70 to my collection one day.

Didn't see this earlier, but I was out there that day, shooting a couple of lanes down from you guys.
