Wishing I would’ve followed MSI’s advice and applied on 6/23. Also, wondering if it made sense to dig my heels in and tell them they can pound sand with their unconstitutional HQL for almost a decade, only to now have to get it to buy a carry pistol.

On the same schedule. Had the first MD permit back in the day. Had to be fingerprinted every renewal and pay the fees at the Annapolis barracks.

Unfortunately, I used my weapon after a Barretta was stuck in my chest and the police took my Glock and held it for six months. At least he didn't get away but was out of the hospital and back on the street in days.

In terms of approved permit#s, Does anyone know where we started this ride and what date that first one was approved? I read through the first 25 pages of this thread to find it and lost patience.

One of the first approvals from a 6/23 application was 7/20, 0454xx.
