That would be my guess…. I’m not going to lie, I had the same idea myself, and got a good chuckle but didn’t go through with it.

Somewhere on the forum there are people who have gotten their HQL with their permit number and posted the steps you have to go through but you will have to find it. Try the search function.

Okay, it is 0400 and I can't sleep. For those of you who have received your permit, does it come in the regular mail, or by USPS package delivery where they leave it on the front porch?

Since the approval comes about 2 weeks after NICS, and actual (informed) delivery about 2-5 days, I am worried it might show up while I am away.
