It does but it also says I will get an email once a background investigator has been assigned. Did you ever get an email that one was assigned?

I asked the same question and was also told we will not receive an email saying we’ve been assigned a background investigator. Once you have NICS #s on your app it’s my understanding you’re waiting for the MSP email. Then you can go to your app online and look for page 7 stating approval status.

Although the NICS->approval dates I expect will stretch out to 3+ weeks.

The time passes much faster if you get your 100 logins 5x per day. If you blow all 100 logins the first day, the next three weeks will be a crawl.

It appears that if they did go Office Space on the printer, they found a replacement.

Looks like postmarked 9 Aug for delivery tomorrow. At least I know where $000.57 went from the application fee

The application originally has 6 pages. When it is finalized, it is changed to 7. Scroll down the application looking for Final Disposition. Hopefully it is approved.

Is the 7th page basically an electronic version of your CCW?? Does it show your CCW number? Or is it just an approval letter?

It shows app number, disposition, permit number, expiration date and a THIS PAGE IS NOT AN OFFICIAL PERMIT.

I'm sure I am part of the Mid-July rush. Did my class 7/14-15. I noticed that was also the same weekend places were doing 80 or more students per class.... I did start my application the weekend after the NY ruling when I signed up for a class. Dropped the prints, pic, and certificate on it 7/19 and sent it. Eh, gives me time to shop, test drive, and check out various other options for my new purchases.
