Was hoping to be approved and permit in hand before my camping trip to West Virginia September 30th so I wouldn’t have to worry with storing while traveling to and from . Averages are widening and not sure I’ll make this by this date . Accepted 7/28th . I guess there still is a chance .

Wife and I just submitted applications 073xxx and 074xxx. She started hers 40 minutes after me and her number is roughly 100 higher.

No, I got my permit almost 30 days exactly after my application was accepted. None of my references were contacted.

As of today, with my 7/8 submission, 7/19 acceptance and 8/11 NICS, I am running at 44 days from submission, 21 days from acceptance and 10 days from NICS.

A slight drop in the running average on days from submitted to accepted. I hope it isn't just signal noise (though it likely is), and is instead a sign that MSP is making more rapid progress. We shall see!

We are seeing NICS assigned to apps accepted 7/27 today.
