Out of curiosity, did anyone who received the “investigator” email get contacted by the investigator?

People are getting an “investigator” email? Is that from the standard electronic system? Or something else?

I‘ve had a NICS number for over a week, but haven’t seen any contact.

43 days and counting - MarkB just above me waited longer than that.

I’m about the same dates. 7/11 submitted, 7/23 accepted, 8/15 NICS… Not alone, sadly.

Wow, I was complaining about a 17 day delay between acceptance and NICS for me. I'd have lost my mind on a 27 day wait.

Yeah I was impatiently waiting for any sign of progress while seeing people with the same or later submission date being approved already. Hopefully it’s not the same situation from here.

I find it interesting that the dates are somewhat arbitrary - they certainly aren't linear.
